Today, I had the privilege of seeing the very first live show of Super Why in Tampa.
It was phenomenal. My daughter was so excited and to see her face light up was priceless. She got to see her favorite characters live on stage. I kept looking at her face with pure happiness. The Super Why Live show is based on The PBS children educational tv show Super why. The characters in the tv show promote reading and words.
The Show started out with Super why in his mild mannered form in a storybook from a Digital Screen, he emerges on stage with the crowds help as a real life character of Super Why.
Each character Wonder Red, Princess Presto, Alpha Pig, Woofster and of course Super Why play apart in you got the power in doing anything you want to do and be anyone you want to be!
To find out the answer to their question who is the most super power in the world? You!
The show kept the audience involved with counting and singing their themed song Super Why!
I loved how the characters were flying in the air and the props blended well with the digital storybook background.
Princess Presto stole the show when she showed her ability to spell was the most important super power as she rocked out on stage with her back up dancers.
My overall opinion is that this was a wonderful and fun show with lots of lights, smoke and confetti.
The Audience was involved from start to finish. My Children were happy and excited. Looking forward to see more Super Why Tours in the Future!
I recommend you following PBS Kids/ Super Why for any future tour dates.

ReplyDeleteOMG I had no idea there was a live version of the show!! How fun is that!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen my kids were younger it was Bear in the Big Blue House and Dora we went to see (my baby is 10 now). I think I enjoyed those live shows as much as they did. With Dora we received back stage passes. OMWow. It was so cool.
ReplyDeleteI wish I still had little ones to enjoy these shows with. We'd definitely be seeing the Super Why Live Show!
