I recently had a wonderful opportunity to do a review on a Robin Hood costume from Wholesale Halloween Costumes.
My son decided that he would take that honor in helping me with my review.
We choose this costume because of it's renaissance flare. He said that robin
hood was cool and that it reminded him of the movie Brave. I guess with the archery that Merida carries, my son seen that it resembles Robin Hood.
The costume as you see comes with a hoodie and a attached vest. So this makes it easier to put it on and off. No fussing about multiple layers. It also comes with a pouch attached to the belt, gauntlets and boot covers. The archery is not included with this costume which I am ok with that. But I did promise him to purchase it in the future. The costume also did not come with pants but luckily we had black pants that went very well with this costume.
As you can see the costume is made with thin material which is great for me living in Florida. Less sweat and more comfortable for him to enjoy his Halloween night. The colors are brown, black and green perfect to resemble more of a medieval attire. There is a draw string to tighten up the hood or make it more loose. My son got a big kick out of the hood because the way it fell across his eyes. Making him look more mysterious.
He admired the gauntlets and thought it was fun to have his fingers sticking out.
If you are not aware of what gauntlets are they are gloves with extending cuff that covers some of the forearm. They were historically used by soldiers and knights.
The boot covers and belt are made out of a faux leather. The belt does have velcro to give it more security.
On the Wholesale Halloween Costumes website you can find adult
costumes, kids costumes, accessories, masks, wigs and props.
They have a wide assortment of sizes to fit everyone's needs.
There prices are fair compared to other costume websites.
The best part is there is not a membership fee and you still get that wholesale pricing. Saving when you can and every bit helps.
Be sure to check them out, you will be happy that you did!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com.
